INTRO
The JAST YP group was founded in 2011 with the purpose of providing young professionals who are interested in US-Japan relations and inter-national exchange opportunities with an organization to meet their needs. It is targeted primarily to those who are new to or developing their careers at Japan-related international companies in the Nashville (Middle TN) area. The JAST YP group will provide social and networking opportunities with other young professionals and help enhance mem-ber’s understanding of Japanese and American culture.

ACTIVITIES
We plan to hold monthly meet-ups such as happy hours and meishi ex-changes, sushi & sake tastings, holiday events, music & sports events, and more. We will also have community & volunteer activities, cultural lectures, Japanese/English conversation classes, and professional devel-opment opportunities like business seminars and leadership opportuni-ties. Also, as a member of JAST, Young Professionals members will be invited to the JAST Annual Membership Meeting and Golf Tournament.
