Find out more about getting involved and what else is in store for 2013 through our event postings on the JAST Young Professionals Facebook page.
The JAST YP group was founded in 2011 with the purpose of providing young professionals who are interested in US-Japan relations and inter-national exchange opportunities with an organization to meet their needs. It is targeted primarily to those who are new to or developing their careers at Japan-related international companies in the Nashville (Middle TN) area. The JAST YP group will provide social and networking opportunities with other young professionals and help enhance mem-ber’s understanding of Japanese and American culture.
We plan to hold monthly meet-ups such as happy hours and meishi ex-changes, sushi & sake tastings, holiday events, music & sports events, and more. We will also have community & volunteer activities, cultural lectures, Japanese/English conversation classes, and professional devel-opment opportunities like business seminars and leadership opportuni-ties. Also, as a member of JAST, Young Professionals members will be invited to the JAST Annual Membership Meeting and Golf Tournament.
If you are interested in being a part of this dynamic new group, we will be happy to hear from you and give you more information. Contact JAST YP Co-Chairs Jennifer Butler or Kei Takizawa at firstname.lastname@example.org
